Kites Over Windham

The WIRE (Windham Initiative for Renewable Energy) Kites Over Windham event has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 17th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Griffin Park. It will be held in conjunction with the Harvest Festival thanks to the kind support of the Windham Recreation Department.

Come fly a kite and learn about WIRE and the Alpha Project for Windham High School!

Don’t have a kite? No worries, WIRE will have simple kites available for purchase as well as WIRE T-shirts.

All proceeds from sales of T-Shirts and kites, as well as any donations, will be used for WIRE’s Alpha Project to install a wind turbine, photovoltaic solar array and weather station monitoring system at Windham High School.
